Welcome to the home of the Phoenix!

 

Hiawatha College Prep-Northrop currently serves grades 5 to 8 scholars and families. Our school offers a new approach to learning rooted in a strong community and rigorous academic outcomes. We focus on learning across content areas. Our program offers dedicated time to know ourselves and our community well because when we couple our self-awareness with our agency, we can make lasting changes in service of a more equitable school and world.

 

Students at HCP-Northrop have more agency about what they are learning, how they are learning it, and how they will use their knowledge and skills. Students work closely with adults to let their passions guide their rigorous academic experience. A student will leave HCP-Northrop with the skills, habits, and confidence to make a lasting impact on their community and their future.
